Compose a message
Open an Aria 2.0 chat and select Compose with voice beside Send.
Speak your message. Select Stop recording when you are finished. Recordings stop automatically after two minutes.
Wait while Aria transcribes the recording. The composer stays locked during recording and transcription so the draft and insertion point do not change.
Review or edit the transcribed text, then select Send when the message is ready.
If the draft already contains text, the transcription is inserted at the cursor. Selected text is replaced, and an unfocused composer appends the transcription to the end of the draft.
Troubleshoot voice input
If voice input cannot access your microphone or transcribe the recording, the existing draft remains unchanged and the composer displays an error. Follow the message to allow microphone access, connect a microphone, or try recording again.
Voice input requires a browser that supports microphone recording. It is available only in the Aria 2.0 chat composer and creates text rather than an audio message. The transcription is never sent automatically.
