Stay up to date with what’s happening in Guide by configuring your notification preferences. The Notifications page allows you to control how and where you receive alerts about scheduling activity and candidate messages.
Here’s how to manage your settings:
📬 Scheduling Notifications
Control how you’re notified when tasks are assigned to you or you’re mentioned in scheduling discussions.
1. Mentions in scheduling task comments
Toggle this on to receive notifications when someone tags or mentions you in a comment on a scheduling task.
You can choose to receive these:
In Guide: Direct in-app notifications
Via Email: Notifications sent to your inbox
2. Scheduling task assigned to me
Get alerted whenever a scheduling task is assigned to you.
Again, choose your delivery channels (Guide, Email, or both) by checking the corresponding boxes.
✅ Tip: Keep both Guide and Email toggled on to avoid missing important tasks, especially if you’re not always logged into Guide.
💬 Candidate Messaging
Want to keep a record of all your communications with candidates?
Enable inbox syncing
Turn this setting on to receive a copy of every message you send to candidates in your email inbox.
This ensures you always have full message history available outside Guide.
