How to Set or Override Your Zoom Email in Guide

Customize the Zoom email Guide uses when scheduling interviews on your behalf

🔍 Why Set a Zoom Email Override?

By default, Guide uses the email address associated with your Guide user account when generating Zoom meeting links. However, if your Zoom account is registered under a different email, you can now override it in your scheduling preferences.

This ensures that:

  • Your Zoom meetings are correctly attributed to your account

  • Guide can successfully generate meetings using the correct credentials


🛠️ How to Set or Edit Your Zoom Email

  1. Go to My Profile in Guide

  2. Click on Edit Scheduling Preferences

  3. In the Zoom Email Override field:

    • You’ll see a placeholder showing your default Guide email

    • You can override it by entering a different email (e.g. your company Zoom account)

  4. Click Save

📌 Once saved, this email will be used for any Zoom links generated by Guide for interviews you’re involved in.


🔁 How to Remove the Override

If you ever want to reset your Zoom email to your default Guide email:

  1. Return to the Zoom Email Override field

  2. Clear the value (leave the field blank)

  3. Click Save

Guide will revert back to using your default user email going forward.


🧠 Tips

  • Only override your Zoom email if your Zoom account differs from your Guide login

  • This setting is self-service — users can update it themselves, or an admin can assist on their behalf

  • This affects Zoom meeting generation only — it won’t change your login or notification email
