Selecting tasks
Hover over a task row and click its checkbox to select it. Once one task is selected, you can click anywhere on other rows to add or remove them from the selection.
The checkbox in the header row selects every task currently loaded in the list.
After selecting the loaded page, a Select all N button appears — click it to extend the selection to every task matching your current filters. You can still uncheck individual tasks to exclude them.
A bar at the bottom of the screen shows how many tasks are selected (for example, "3 of 120 selected").
Selections follow your current view: changing a filter clears the selection, and selecting a task closes an open task panel. Press Esc to clear the selection; press it again to close the task panel.
Changing status in bulk
With tasks selected, click Change status… in the bar at the bottom and choose Open, Completed, or Archived. Your list's current status is marked in the menu. Guide asks you to confirm before applying the change.
Small selections apply immediately.
Larger selections run in the background — a progress indicator shows when the change finishes, and the list refreshes automatically.
Tasks moved to Archived leave the active views; find them anytime under the Archived status filter, and use Change status… → Open from there to bring them back.
Limitations
Status is the only bulk change today — assignee, priority, and queue still change per task.
A single bulk change can cover up to 5,000 tasks.
With a very long list loaded (more than 250 tasks), live updates pause and an Updates available — Refresh button appears instead of the list changing under you.
