What Happens When An Interviewer “Graduates” from a Training Path?

Learn how Guide handles interviewer completion of training paths

Updated yesterday

🎓 What Happens When Someone “Graduates” from a Training Path?

When an interviewer completes their assigned training path, Guide automatically recognizes them as qualified for interviews tied to that path.

  • ✅ They are now eligible to be scheduled for any stage or role associated with the completed training path

  • 🚫 They are not automatically added to a tag, since training path eligibility and tag logic are handled separately

📬 Notifications on Enrollment and Graduation

Interviewer notifications related to training paths include:

  • Enrollment: Interviewers are notified when they’ve been assigned a training path

  • Completion: They may receive confirmation or next steps depending on how your organization has configured training workflows

🧠 Note: If your team uses Slack, these alerts often appear as DM notifications. If you’d like to customize training path messaging, reach out to your Guide CSM.

🏷️ What About Tags?

Tags and training paths serve different purposes:

  • Training Paths = Certification for interview eligibility

  • Tags = Used for routing and panel configuration

If you want to also assign tags upon graduation, this can be done manually or via a bulk tag update.
