💡 How to Use Tokens

Tokens in Guide automatically pull relevant details into your emails and calendar invites — things like candidate names, interview dates, and interviewer titles. You can insert them by typing the $ symbol or by clicking the Insert Token button in the message editor.

You can insert tokens into:

  • Candidate emails

  • Interviewer emails

  • Calendar invites


💡 How to Insert a Token

In any message editor inside Guide:

  • Start typing the '$' symbol to trigger the token list

    OR

  • Click the Insert Token button at the bottom of the message editor

  • $coordinator.title — The coordinator’s title (e.g., “Recruiting Coordinator”)

  • $coordinator.name — The coordinator’s full name (e.g., “Amanda Wilson”)

  • $coordinator.name First name — The coordinator’s first name (e.g., “Amanda”)

  • $coordinator.name Last name — The coordinator’s last name (e.g., “Wilson”)

  • $recruiter.title — The recruiter’s title (e.g., “Senior Recruiter”)

  • $recruiter.name — The recruiter’s full name (e.g., “Jenny Lee”)
