How to Reschedule an Interview After a Scorecard is Submitted

After a scorecard is submitted in Greenhouse, Greenhouse no longer allows Guide to update that interview. You can still reschedule it from Guide by replacing the existing Greenhouse interview.

When managing interviews, you might encounter a situation where an interview needs to be rescheduled after a scorecard has already been completed—perhaps due to a candidate no-show. This guide explains why rescheduling such interviews may cause synchronization issues between Guide and Greenhouse, and provides steps to properly reschedule the interview to ensure everything syncs correctly.

Reschedule the interview

  1. Open the interview in Guide and begin the reschedule or edit flow.

  2. Guide will show a message that a scorecard has been submitted and the interview can no longer be updated in Greenhouse.

  3. Select Replace existing interview or Replace ATS interview.

  4. Enter the new date, time, interviewers, and any other updated details.

  5. Save the changes.

Guide will keep the interview in Guide and create a new interview in Greenhouse with the updated details during the next ATS sync. The original Greenhouse interview and its submitted scorecard remain unchanged.

What to expect

The new Greenhouse interview will have a new scorecard for the rescheduled interview. Confirm that the replacement interview appears in Greenhouse after the sync completes before the interview takes place.

Avoid deleting the original interview in Greenhouse. It contains the submitted scorecard and serves as the record of the original interview.
