My Profile
In Guide, your profile is where you personalize how you show up to your team and candidates. You can update your name, role, pronouns, and even include a video introduction.
🎯 Accessing Your Profile
To access your profile:
Navigate to the bottom left corner of the Guide app.
Click your avatar (initials or profile picture).
Select Settings.
In the left sidebar, under “Your account,” click My profile.
🛠️ Fields You Can Edit
Here’s what you can customize:
Full name — Required field; this is how your name appears across Guide.
Role — Add your job title or functional description.
Pronouns — Choose from a dropdown list.
Bio — Write a short description about yourself.
URL — Link to a personal website or LinkedIn profile.
Video introduction — Paste a YouTube or Loom link to help candidates get to know you before their interview.
You can also upload a profile picture by clicking Upload file next to your avatar.
💾 Saving Changes
Once you’ve updated your information:
Click the Save changes button in the bottom right corner.
All updates will immediately reflect in relevant parts of the Guide platform, including the candidate portal if used.
For best results, keep bios short, make video links under 60 seconds, and use square images for profile pictures.
