Editing Interviewer Profiles

Understand how interviewer titles and photos are set, and what happens when syncing from connected systems like Slack

Interviewer titles and profile photos can be updated in the following ways:

🖼️ How to Update an Interviewer’s Photo

If an interviewer’s Slack photo is outdated or missing, you can upload a new one manually:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Users

  2. Click on the interviewer’s name

  3. Click Edit candidate-facing profile

  4. Upload a new photo

📝 How to Update an Interviewer’s Title or Bio

You can also edit an interviewer’s title and other details directly from their user profile:

  1. Go to Settings → Users

  2. Select the interviewer you want to update

  3. Edit the Title, Bio, or LinkedIn URL

  4. Save changes

🔁 Can We Re-sync Specific Fields from Slack?

Once an interviewer’s profile has been manually edited in Guide, it will no longer sync with Slack. This includes fields like title, photo, and bio.

At this time, you cannot selectively re-sync only specific fields (e.g. just the title from Slack). If you want to retain manual edits (e.g. a custom bio), those fields must be maintained directly in Guide going forward.

🔗 Can Guide Sync Interviewer Details from Google or Workday?

Currently, Guide does not support syncing interviewer information (like titles or photos) from Google Workspace or Workday.
