Interviewer Profiles & Visibility

Each interviewer in Guide has a profile that lives inside the candidate portal. These profiles help humanize your team and give candidates helpful context on who they’ll be meeting.

👤 What’s Included in a Profile?

Each interviewer’s profile can include:

  • Full name and title

  • Profile photo

  • Pronouns (optional)

  • LinkedIn URL

  • Short bio (typically 1–2 sentences)

This info appears to candidates in the “Meet Your Interviewers” section of the portal, along with their scheduled interview time and topic.

🧩 How Profiles Are Managed

There are two ways to update interviewer profiles:

1. Manual Updates by the Interviewer

  • Interviewers can log into Guide and update their own profile details.

  • Great for ensuring bios reflect personal tone and preferences.

2. Central Management by Admins

  • Admins or Content Managers can update profiles centrally via:

    ⚙️ Settings > Interviewer Profiles

  • Helpful for standardizing tone or filling in missing data at scale.

🔒 Visibility & Customization

Admins can also:

  • Toggle visibility: choose whether an interview appears in the candidate portal (e.g. hide debriefs)

  • Set display names for interview stages (e.g. “Hiring Manager Chat” instead of “Phone Screen 2”)

These settings ensure a polished, candidate-first experience.

💡 Tips for Strong Profiles

  • Use high-quality, friendly headshots

  • Keep bios conversational but concise

  • Link to a real LinkedIn page when possible

  • Avoid acronyms or overly internal job titles
